Egyptian, economist with 36 years experience in economic analysis and development work, agribusiness, export and resource mobilisation spanning strategic planning and performance measurement, benchmarking and indicator design, sector analysis, agro-industry trade, quantitative and qualitative analyses, policy reforms and negotiations, domestic markets and foreign trade, competitiveness analysis, and knowledge of Government Performance; sector assessments and project preparation, design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation; project management and leadership; policy dialogue; database and knowledge management; supply (value) chain analysis, domestic markets and foreign trade analyses, measure profitability by product; price policy; marketing; competitiveness impacts; rural sector human development competitiveness and business development, and institutional development all with the goal of fostering sustainable broad-based economic growth. Worked for 18 years with USAID as a Senior Economist and more than 6 years with the Government of Egypt and since January 2001, as a consultant with AfDB on short term assignments and have been recognized as a team player with ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
